This Saturday begins a month of awareness, and there are many resources and events to take part in whether you feel personally called to adopt, have friends or experiences with adoptive families that you'd like to support, or simply want to take part in following God's call to care for widows and orphans (James 1:27). Here are a few links and ways you can get involved:

To our Birth parents,
Here at Christian Family Life Services, we have seen the Lord work in powerful and impacting ways in the lives of so many children, birth mothers, and adoptive families. We have learned so much from your sacrifice of love, and have been able to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ portrayed so clearly through God’s story in your life.
As a way to tell others of what God has done, we are asking if you would be willing to share your beautiful story. Please do not feel pressure to do so, as we know that making an adoption plan for your child was a painful and difficult decision. However, if you do choose to share your story, know that we may use a quote, paragraph, or the whole story as it fits in the agency brochure or our newsletters as a way to encourage and inform others about your great love for your child, and ultimately God’s great love for us. In keeping with our confidentiality, we can of course change names and wouldn’t include identifying information.
You may want to include:
- How God has worked in your life through your decision to make an adoption plan
- What led to your decision to chose adoption
- How CFLS helped and assisted you in the transition
- Your relationship with the adoptive family
- What God is doing in your life today
Again, please do not feel any pressure to share your story, but know we appreciate anything you are willing to share. It has been an honor to have worked with you in the past, so thank you for letting us play a small role in your story and your life. You are cherished and loved, and you remain in our thoughts and our prayers. We hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you again,
