- How much does CFLS intend to raise?
Our goal this year is $18,000 which is about $8,000 more than was raised on our first GHD last year. We have $5,150 in match funds from generous donors to multiply your impact on February 11th.
- Do I have to give online?
Not if the gift is $1,000+ (see next question), but it is the primary means of participating in this 24-hr online fundraiser. Gifts of $10-999 will only count towards the Giving Hearts Day total (and qualify for matching funds) if they are given through the impactgiveback.org site on February 11. You are always welcome to donate to CFLS any time in any amount.
- Can I write a check?
Yes, if the check is for $1,000+, dated February 11, and received at CFLS by February 11 so that we can submit it to Dakota Medical Foundation that day. This is an option for larger gifts so that credit card processing charges can be avoided and to accommodate those traveling out of the area during the fundraising event.
- Why did CFLS advertise with The Perry Center? Are they the same organization?
The Perry Center is a partner ministry founded by Darold & Pat Larson within a year of CFLS to provide a residence for pregnant women choosing life for their child and in need of a place to stay. We work together in providing some education and support to the women, and if they choose adoption, CFLS counsels them through the process.
